Same services and mission, just with a new name.  NeighborWorks Provo is a grassroots-started, non-profit, community-based organization working to make our Provo neighborhoods safer, stronger, more beautiful places to live.

Our Mission:

NeighborWorks Provo helps create neighborhoods of choice by:

• Increasing homeownership,
• Improving housing quality,
• Promoting neighborhood unity and leadership.

Our Services:

We fufill our mission by:

• Encouraging home ownership & maintenance for low to moderate income families & individuals through:

1. exclusive first-time buyer home loans
2. home improvement loans at below market interest rates
3. credit counseling
4. foreclosure avoidance training
5. home buyer education classes

• Developing neighborhoods through:

1. construction of affordable mixed use projects in vacant infill lots
2. replacing/repairing blighted structures with affordable family housing

• Building community leadership through:

1. training opportunities
2. fostering neighborhood support groups
3. sponsoring community projects such as “Paint Your Heart Out,” “Plant Your Heart Out,” Provo Farmers Market, “Pride In Provo”, etc.
